Our San Francisco Sourdough is inspired by the iconic loaves of the Bay Area — denser and chewier than our Country Sourdough, with a pronounced tang and a golden, blistered crust. Made with organic flour from Central Milling, our natural starter, and sea salt, it’s slow-fermented to develop deep, complex flavor and hearty texture.
The natural fermentation not only creates its signature sour character but also makes the bread easier to digest and slower to stale. With its robust crumb and bold bite, this loaf is a true sourdough classic — perfect for sandwiches, hearty meals, or simply enjoyed warm with butter.
